Hi Billiardparty Fans,
As most of you know I'm campaigning for donations for the 2016 Ride To Conquer Cancer again this year. I'm looking forward to the event but it's really not about me riding my bike ... is it?
Maybe it's a time of life thing but I've become increasingly aware of how many people are directly affected by cancer and have to fight the brave fight. More and more people I know are struggling against it. Some are holding their own while others are taken by cancer.
The only thing I know how to do to help them fight is participate in an awareness campaign called "The Ride To Conquer Cancer". The Ride is put on as a reward to those who solicit funds from people we know to help people we *all* know.
Someone you know is fighting cancer right now. Think about it ... that's right ... someone you know.
What do you say to them to help? What can you say? The words of support, no matter how genuine, seem hollow even as they are coming out of your mouth. Many people say "If there is anything I can do just let me know ... call me."
I'm calling you on their behalf to follow through on those words of concern. To step up with some genuine action towards helping these people you care about.
I'm participating in the 2016 Ride To Conquer Cancer to help those same people. Help me to help them with a donation of any amount.
Thanks in advance for your support!
